I'm going to try to shorten my entries up so I actually get them done in one sitting. Not attempt to write a long one, just to log on three months later and see it sitting there, incomplete and no longer relevant to what is going on in our life.
We've had an interesting two months here! LIMBO... it's uncomfortable to say the least. I didn't know how many plans I had made on my own until they were all put on hold. Our whole life was put on hold really. Daniel's migraines finally got to the point that he was miserable... every day coming home with some type of pressure, some start of a headache coming on. Well, you can't be in the Navy and have that many migraines, so everything was put on hold. Long story, very very short; Daniel went to a neurologist, started on some submarine friendly meds, and he has not had a migraine since. God is good! He hasn't been migraine free since I've known him (13 years people... that makes my mouth drop). Fast forward to last week, we are sitting waiting for Navy paperwork to go through, and waiting and waiting. Of course there are some mishaps, including the guy who reviews the whole thing going on leave the day we are supposed to hear...awesome. FINALLY, on Friday we got word that the waiver was done and we were good to go. Since then we've been trying to get a move together and with more paperwork and processing errors we are just now getting our dates for moving. All this actually is going pretty fast for the Navy, but for our little family, it's been slow! It doesn't help that it's miserably cold here and we're moving to HAWAII, where it's currently 79 degrees and sunny. Just saying.
Grace is already packed with every skirt she owns in her pink suitcase, and she keeps bringing me random items and making sure they will be going to Hawaii with us. She continually talks of how, "we have to go to Hawaii where it's warm, and I can wear my skirt and no pants!" Her perception on the world is hilarious. Little sass she is.
Though it'll be bittersweet to leave the friends we have met and shared our time with here, I think we all are looking forward to being where it's hot and not having to wear pants!
Night!
